01 Who we are
MusclMind is operated by Fitness Fanatik (“we”, “us”). The app is an AI movement coach: it uses your phone camera to count reps, score form, generate workout plans, and play audio coaching.
This policy covers the MusclMind mobile app and the Firebase services that back it (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, Remote Config, and this website).

We do not sell your personal information. We do not run third-party advertising SDKs in the app. We currently do not use Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics.
03 Camera, microphone, and pose tracking
- Camera is required so the coach can see your movement.
- Microphone is requested with the camera for session capture on Android. We do not upload microphone audio to our servers.
- Rep clips may be saved on your device so you can replay a set. Those files stay local unless you share them yourself.
- Form analysis: when you run AI posture analysis, MusclMind may send selected still frames (JPEGs) plus exercise metrics to Google Gemini so the model can comment on your form. Do not use analysis if you do not want those stills processed by Google.
04 How we use information
- Create and secure your account (SMS one-time codes via Firebase Phone Auth).
- Personalize plans, loads, rest, and coaching using your profile and recent sessions.
- Generate or regenerate workout plans and coach copy with Google Gemini (we send profile and training context such as name, age, height, weight, goal, and equipment — not your phone number).
- Play audio coaching. Pre-recorded coach lines are downloaded from Firebase Storage. If a line is missing, the app may call ElevenLabs or Sarvam AI to synthesize speech. Those requests contain the phrase to speak, not your workout video.
- Sync your profile, plan, and history across devices signed in as you.
- Prompt you to update the app when a new version is required.
- Keep the service reliable and prevent abuse of authentication.
05 Processors we use
We share data only with service providers that help us run MusclMind:
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud — accounts, database, file hosting, functions, remote config, this privacy page.
- Google Gemini — plan generation, coach insights, and optional form analysis (including still frames you choose to analyze).
- ElevenLabs — optional text-to-speech for coach audio.
- Sarvam AI — optional text-to-speech for coach audio.
- Google Play services — app distribution and Play Integrity checks used by phone sign-in.
Those providers process data under their own terms. MusclMind content you send to an AI provider may be handled according to that provider’s API / privacy terms.
06 Storage, retention, and security
- Cloud data is stored in Google Firebase, keyed to your Firebase user ID. Firestore rules allow only that signed-in user to read or write their documents.
- A copy also lives on your phone so the app works offline.
- We keep account and training data until you ask us to delete it or you delete the account.
- We use industry-standard protections provided by Firebase (HTTPS, access rules, authenticated Cloud Functions). No method of transmission is perfectly secure.
07 Your choices and rights
- Access / correction: edit name, email, and body metrics in Profile.
- Camera / mic: you can revoke permissions in Android settings. The guided workout experience will not work without camera access.
- Sign out: available in Profile. Signing out does not by itself delete cloud data.
- Delete your data: use the account deletion request form or email privacy@fitnessfanatik.com. We delete the Firebase Authentication user and Firestore records for that account within 30 days, subject to brief backups and legal holds.
If you are in a region with data-protection law (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or GDPR-style rights), you may also request access, correction, erasure, or a copy of your personal data using the contact below.
08 Children
MusclMind is intended for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
International processing
Firebase and the AI providers above may process data on servers outside India (including the United States). By using MusclMind you understand that your information may be transferred to those locations.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. The “Effective” date at the top will change. Material updates will be reflected on this page, which the app links to from sign-in and Profile.
